tqwtourney has come to a close after two fun-filled days of QuakeWorld action across multiple disciplines. The winners are razor and spoink from team [fs], second place goes to grind and nih from team er and coming in at third place was red & cosmos/willgurht from team NAME=?.

Thus ends day one. From feedback received so far everyone has had a great time with the days events.

Now that everyone is seeded and the single elimination tournament begins things may start to get a little competitive - if you're in this just for fun (I hope you all are in some respects) then just ignore all those highly competitive sobs and continue to enjoy the event :). There will be cams available for those who get knocked out early.

Signups are going well. We have only 3 more places left before we close signups so please signup quickly if you intend on entering the tournament! If you know of a team who was intending to signup but is of the procrastinating type then ensure they signup before they miss out. If you are a lone ranger who cannot find a partner please message me (oppy) or another trickery.qw admin who resides in #trickery.qw and we'll see what we can do. When we reach the maximum team quota I will be emailing everyone with information concerning the event, so be sure to look out for that.
